Lighter in colour and glabrous on the underside. Petiole length is up to 2 cm with 1 or 2 glands. White flowers. Flowering together with budbreaking in April to May. Shoots: Young shoots are hairy or hairless, older dark brown. They are squared. Natural range: Probably came from the Caucasus.
