Bush with thorns up to 1,5 m tall with upright branches. The lamina is rounded, 3-5-lobate; on both sides pubescent (later on the face only sparsely). The flowers are green in racemose inflorescence. Flowering from April to May. The fruit are green to brown-red berries with more seeds.Size of the berry is 1,5 cm. Shoots: Shoots are whitish-gray, smooth, shiny, with stripping bark. They are usually densely thorny. Natural range: Europe (up to the central Scandinavia), the Caucasus, north-west Africa; in our area domestic.

Buds

Buds are ovoid - elongated, obtuse, brown. The scales are glabrous, hairless, but with ciliated edge.
