Bush without spikes 1-2 m tall, dense. Yellow-green flowers in racemose inflorescence. Leaves are simple. Lamina is round-ovate, three-lobated, on both sides sparsely pilose, sometimes hairless. In the period of fructification, the underside is glossy. Flowering from April to May. The fruit are red berries with more seeds. The size of berry is 7-8 mm. Shoots: Shoots are thin, with small cork strips, yellowish-brown, glabrous, with stripping bark. Natural range: Europe (up to the central Scandinavia), isolated arean in the Caucasus, north-west Africa; in our area domestic.

Buds are thin, spindle-shaped, 7 mm long, light brown and glabrous.
